The VAS 5054A is an universal diagnostic interface for the VAG Goup vehicles. The integrated Bluetooth interface connects the vehicle with a notebook, desktop PC or test system. No cables are needed for vehicle diagnostics using the VAS 5054A.

     The range of the wireless Bluetooth connection is 5 to 10 meters, depending on the environment and the type of Bluetooth adapter used on the PC side. The Serial Port Profile (SPP) is used for data transfer via Bluetooth. Different Bluetooth security levels are supported.

          The following vehicle bus systems are supported:

• K line (ISO9141-2)
• High-speed CAN (ISO 11898-2)
• Low-speed CAN (ISO 11898-3)
• J1850 (SAE J1850)

     The vehicle protocols are handled directly in the VAS 5054A. This ensures fast response times and a reliable real-time behavior independently of the PC operating system. Every time a connection is established, the VAS 5054A software is synchonized with the version installed on the application PC. The VAS 5054A thus automatically adopts any new features provided after a new software version has been installed on the application PC.

     The diagnostic application and the associated Diagnostic Base System are installed on the application PC. The Diagnostic Base System can access the VAS 5054A via Bluetooth or USB.

     MMC has developed the MUT-III as a next generation diagnosis tester for servicing these new and future vehicles.
     A personal computer (PC) is connected to the MUTIII unit and used as a system's control terminal, and communicates with a vehicle ECU through the VCI. In addition to being able to handle all diagnosis functions covered by the conventional MUT-II tester, the MUT-III system can display data as easy-to-understand diagrams and graphs on a large screen of the PC. Unlike the MUT-II, the MUT-III can retain data on all vehicles from 1995 to new models, classified according to destination in the PC's hard disk. This eliminates the awkward but essential job with the MUT-II, of switching the data list (communications protocol data and diagnosis item list database) by replacing the ROM pack with another according to the vehicle model and year model.
     New functions that make use of the advantages of the PC are also being developed. For example, the workshop manual viewer is a useful function for mechanics as they no longer have to carry around a thick manual and search for relevant pages while working on a vehicle. The workshop manual viewer is currently available for certain vehicle models, and allows users to retrieve the pages containing the failure code for a particular problem at the push of a button.

     MUT-3 PC software application supports following languages :

Used when connecting the V.C.I. with vehicles that have
only one 16-pin diagnosis connector.

M.U.T.-III Main Harness B (MB991911):

Used when connecting V.C.I. with vehicles that have a
16-pin + 12-pin or 16-pin + 13-pin diagnosis connector.
For models equipped with only 12-pin (or 12-pin + 12-pin)
diagnosis connector, connect the M.U.T.-II adapter harness
(MB991498) to the end of this harness in the same as
M.U.T.-II, and power is supplied from the cigarette lighter
socket.

Carrying case

          The SSMIII is a powerful fault diagnosis device (for Subaru vehicles) that has been developed using the latest advanced technology. Used in combination with a PC, it provides a tool for quick and efficient analysis of vehicle faults.

          Application software running on a PC provides an interactive user interface for very simple operation. High-speed communication with the engine control system and transmission control system help to make checking of various phenomena faster than ever before.

          The SSMIII is a fault diagnosis device that provides a standard means of automotive fault diagnosis. It communicates with the various system control modules equipped in a vehicle to monitor control module input/output data, and to allow checking and deletion of diagnostic codes generated by the controlmodule. It also provides means to reset control module learning values and other control parameters, and to force operation of engine control system actuators.

    Features:

• All System Diagnosis. Selecting this item displays on a single screen the fault detect status of all control system control modules for which SSM??? diagnosis is supported, and memorized diagnostic codes.
• Each System Check. Selecting this item makes it possible to select a particular system from among the control systems forwhich SSM??? diagnosis is supported, and perform fault diagnosis. This item can be used to view input/output data of the system control modules that perform fault diagnosis, memorized diagnostic codes, and other data on the PC display. This menu item is also used after repair work is complete to delete diagnostic codes, to configure control module settings, etc.
• Saved Data Display. This item can be used to save various data sampled during fault diagnosis operations, and to load data for viewing after work is complete.
• Immobilizer. This item performs immobilizer registration.
• Reprogram. This item performs reprogramming of the control module.
• Read CF application measurement data. This item performs reading stand alone measurement data saved in a CF card to hard disk of your PC.
• Convert/Save measurement data on driving recorder. Loads data sampled on the driving recorder to the PC from the CF card, and converts and saves that data.
• Oscilloscope. After attaching the optional pulse/analog cartridge to SDI, connect the pulse/analog box to the SDI and using pulse/analog probe to perform analog sampling.

    Description:

        Dealer diagnostic scanner for comprehensive Citroen and Peugeot cars diagnostic. You can do all as an authorized dealer does. This diagnostics software allows you to perform complete diagnostics of all from 1995 untill present models. Diagnostics is performed via OBD-II connector (which is located near steering wheel) or via manufacturer-specific connector (only older cars, pre-2001).

        Unlike other universal car scanner tools which only read fault codes, this software performs nearly ALL the functions like the original dealer diagnostic tool. Our diagnostic interface contains K-Line multiplexor, CAN-BUS interfaces and SAE J1850 bus (both PWM and VPW).
